Meine Unzufriedenheit mit den dortigen Zuständen hatte ich ja klar zur Sprache gebracht, und nachdem sich trotz gegenteiliger Aussage der Betreiber (konkret plasir, siehe meine AB-Signatur) absolut nichts verbessert hat, habe ich daraus (wie einige andere ehemalige Stammnutzer auch) die Konsequenz gezogen, keine Beiträge mehr dort zu schreiben. Hier ist die Situation vergleichbar; auf jede halbwegs brauchbare Diskussion kommen ein paar Dutzend Müllthreads von dummfaulen Feuerhaken.

ich wusste, dass libalele mit 2 assen preflop geraist hat, aber das..... wäre natürlich ein starker laydown gewesen meinerseits aber die hand konnte ich irgendwie nicht weglegen

direkt danach bekomme ich 2 asse gedealt preflop lässt sich ein lappen mit seinem schund (72 zu 26%) auf ein all-in ein und bis zum river war ich noch konstant 60:40 favorit...

hier noch die stats die stars mir zur session gemailt hat - its a roller coaster game

92 hands played and saw flop:
- 10 times out of 12 while in small blind (83%)
- 8 times out of 10 while in big blind (80%)
- 49 times out of 70 in other positions (70%)

es sind doch nur zwei karten mehr als bei holdem. und trotzdem verstehe ich nicht viel von omaha. ich wüsste z.B. gar nicht mit welchen starthänden man limpen, callen oder raisen soll.

was soll es. so lange ich mit holdem noch etwas geld machen kann muss ich nicht auf omaha umsteigen.

finde es aber trotzdem gut, dass du den umstieg gewagt hast und doch auch erfolgreich zu sein scheinst.

und irgendwie ärgert es mich auch ein bisschen, dass du omaha spielen kannst und ich nicht.

also omaha high ist einfacher als du denkst, als versierter nl-spieler wirst du wohl wenig probleme beim einstieg haben und von deiner erfahrung profitieren. nein, ich möchte dich nicht überreden!

und irgendwie ärgert es mich auch ein bisschen, dass du omaha spielen kannst und ich nicht

die heutige 2-tisch-session ist fast eine exakte kopie von gestern - erst läuft es super und am ende bin ich noch mit einigen wenigen händen von 150 auf 90 bbs abgestürzt.

hmm also wo die zwei Könige im Flop da lagen, hätte ich den Gegner auf zwei Asse oder den 3. König gesetzt (bei dem Bet Pre-Flop) und hätte mir nach dem 1/5 Potbet auch erstmal den Turn angeschaut (oder gleich gefoldet). Aber beim dritten König ihn Allin zu setzen?
Hier hätte ich gecheckt bzw. einen checkraise angesetzt und geschaut, was er macht.

Ansonsten muss ich sagen, das mir Omaha auch ein wenig Spass macht ;-) Ist mal was anderes als Holdem. Nur manchmal ertappe ich mich beim Fehlermachen, wenn ich statt der 2 Karten aus meinem Blatt 3 Karten gedanklich nehme und mich dann wundere, das ich verliere ;-) Ich glaube, man muss Omaha sehr viel Spielen, das solche kleine aber gemeine Fehler nicht passieren.

tja wenn man bei omaha seine keyhands nicht gewinnt, kann man auch kein plus in den sessions machen

so, hab gestern nach langer zeit wieder etwas omaha gespielt und auch mal wieder etwas glück gehabt - was ein backdoor-flush doch wert sein kann! eigentlich ein weak play von mir, preflop und auch der call nach dem flop....aber bei dem tisch musste man fast immer dabei sein

omaha ist eine ewige berg- und talfahrt - ich stell hier mal 2 hände von vor einigen tagen rein....hand 1: mittlerweile habe ich bei omaha schon viel häufiger gegen 1-outer verloren als bei nl holdem in 1,5 jahren. gestern habe ich beim flop von AKx mal meine kings weggeworfen ....der gegner hat nicht gezeigt, aber ich war mir 100% sicher, dass er asse hatte. hand 2: einfach ein geiler semi-bluff ....das adrenalin tat wirklich gut!

hab neulich zum Spass bei Pokerstars PM gespielt

Hab da in 20 min meine Anfangschips ver 10-facht, hab aber absolut keine Ahnung wie und warum,
hab einfach fast alles gecallt was da kam, aber ich sehe da einfach gar nicht was ich selbst habe.

omaha ist fast so einfach wie texas holdem. Du musst dir nur merken (hat man nach 2 Wochen verinnerlicht), das du 3 Karten aus der Mitte nimmst und 2 Karten aus deinem Blatt und damit wie bei Texas dir die 5-Karten-Kombination zusammenbastelst.
Eigentlich ganz easy ;-)

Omaha hat etwas mehr Glücksanteil, da Sets, Flushes, Strassen und Fullhouses öfters vorkommen.
Ein einzelnes Pärchen ist da nicht mehr viel wert.

Du musst bei Omaha erkennen, wann deine Hand geschlagen ist. (gelingt mir recht gut bis auf Badbeats, z.b. wo im River für den Gegner noch das Fullhouse zum Beispiel entsteht.) Zum Beispiel, wenn du eine Chance auf Flush hast, aber ein Pärchen in der Mitte liegt, keine grossen Einsätze mehr mitgehen, da fast garantiert jemand das Fullhouse haben wird oder den Vierling ;-)
