Bwin.Party Continues to Get Hammered
Earlier today, Bwin.Party (parent company of Party Poker) dipped below the 100.00 mark for the first time in its history, eventually closing the day at 101.70 on the London Stock Exchange.
The stock has been in freefall as of late, and today's 9.68% drop certainly didn't help things.
Bwin.Party is now trading nearly 30 points LOWER than it was before "Black Friday" on April 15th (the stock closed at 131.00 on the London Stock Exchange that day, just hours before "Black Friday" changed the online poker world forever).

Unibet Poker Revenue Down 41 Percent This Year
Withdrawal from French Market Takes Toll On Unibet Poker
by Brendan Murray | Published: Aug 11, 2011
Gross poker revenue Unibet fell 41 percent to £6.97 million in the first half of 2011 from £11.8 million in the first half of 2010 primarily as a result of Unibet’s withdrawal from the now regulated French market.
In the second quarter of 2011 (April to June) gross poker revenue was £2.99 million down 36 percent from £4.7 million a year earlier.
In the second quarter of 2011 poker represented 9 percent of gross winning revenue compared to 12 percent in the second quarter of 2010.
Poker fell 44 percent in the first quarter of 2011.
The company said in its interim statement, “During the second quarter of 2011 the rationalisations of bonus spends and focus towards the casual player continued. The now famous ‘Black Friday’ prompted additional promotional activity and a temporary increase in marketing spend within the whole poker network aimed at capturing additional market share.
“However Poker has remained a difficult market with little sign yet of any significant impact from the closure of some US-facing competitors.”

Bwin.party rutscht ins Minus

Bwin.Party Reports Q3 Results
8 November 2011 by Godwin Maidment - http://ipvip.co/5i08w
Bwin.party, the world’s largest publicly-listed online gaming company, announced third quarter results today.
Pro forma revenue was up 3% from the third quarter of 2010 to €201 million, and up 9% from the second quarter this year, thanks to the launch of new games in Italy and strong growth in the company’s casino division.
Poker revenue has benefited from the closure of Full Tilt in the second quarter of 2011, while sports betting saw net gaming revenue rise 11% from the last quarter to €60 million.
The company posted poker revenue of €52 million, up 3% from the second quarter of 2011, and down only marginally from the £53 million recorded in the third quarter of 2010.
Management will be encouraged by the rebound. In August, bwin.party announced that first half poker revenue fell 11% to £105 million from £117 million in the first six months of 2010.
There were 430,400 new sign-ups for bwin.party during the quarter, which is a 6% increase on the second quarter's figure of 405,700, reflecting the launch of new products in Italy.
