PokerTracker 3
Overview
PokerTracker 3 is a complete overhaul of the entire PokerTracker software. A few of the major changes are:
# A modern graphical user interface (GUI). New look but the same great layout of data and ease of use!
# Faster imports, faster stat retrieval, and threading so that you can multitask within PokerTracker without the delay.
# A redesigned database: more Stats, more filters, and very scalable so that less databases are needed
# A built in HUD for increased performance with your table overlay.
# And many more new features to enhance your poker playing experience...
Schedule
The following is the tentative schedule for PokerTracker 3 - Hold'em:
# Alpha testing officially started December 8th.
# Beta testing will begin by the end of December.
# The final release of PokerTracker will go on sale by the end of January 2008.

I am an existing PokerTracker customer. Will I receive a discount?
Yes, current PokerTracker customers will receive a special upgrade price dependent on the length of time that they have owned PokerTracker. Users who have recently purchased PokerTracker will receive a greater discount than those users who purchased PokerTracker awhile ago, since recent purchases will have received less value out of their original PokerTracker purchase.

Marketing pur.
Wer von euch hat verlässliche Informationen zu Pokertracker3?

Build 2 Expiration - Extended
Postby Josh on Sat Jun 28, 2008 12:11 am
Build 2 is set to expire at midnight on June 30th. I have re-released build 2 with an extended expiration. Just download build 2 again from the download page, install, and you'll be set. There's no need to uninstall your current version. Beta 13 will still work fine.
Why set expiration dates? Since we're still relatively early in commercial development, there were bound to be bugs that hadn't been found yet (as we saw in the past weeks with build 2). We set these expiration dates to prevent versions that are old from being used until the releases are confirmed stable.
I was away for a week or so with my family earlier this month and it's taken a while for me to get caught up, which is why there hasn't been much on here from me or any new releases in a while. Derek and I will be in Vegas for the WSOP gaming expo at the Rio next week, but I hope to get Beta 14 released by then.
I know it's taking much longer than anticipated to get new features out to you guys. The Hud problems were deeply rooted and very difficult to debug and fix. We've made a lot of progress though and we're getting very close to having the Hud problems resolved. Once they are resolved, new features can be added quickly.
Thanks for your patience and working with us to resolve these problems.

Beta 22 Released
Fixed:
Hud stats not updating
Settings not saving properly
lookup_action in regards to tournament stats
OnGame hands where the dealer information is incorrect in the database file (causing hands not to be imported)
Email imports: Problems when connecting without using SSL
Sessions/Tournaments double-click filter that was broke in a previous release
More than 5-6 Boss tables not being recognized
New filters breaking the player list
PokerStars tournament summary changes
This is a bug fix release. Most of the problems people were having with beta 21 are resolved here.
For those of you who have submitted log files and information regarding a bug or problem you are having and have not received a response, don't worry. Your message is not being ignored. We are currently re-organizing the way bugs are dealt with. This should allow us to address bugs much easier and more efficiently. We are also still accepting applications for the development position. See our announcement on the C++ development job. Adding more developers will mean features can be added quicker and bugs can be addressed in a more timely fashion.
As for ongoing development, we hope to add more site support by the end of the year. Thanks to those of you who have submitted hands to us, but we still need more. We need hands from the following sites:
Absolute/Cereus
B2B
Betfair
Bodog
Cryptologic
Microgaming Network
Pacific Poker
Tain Network
Tribeca
Ultimate Bet
World Poker Exchange
We need hand histories in all formats and both cash and tournament hands. For sites that use database files or single xml files or whatever, we need those as well as any datamining formats and PT2 exported formats. The more hand histories we get, the easier and faster it will be for us to get support added for the site. The sites above are not listed in the order we will be adding them. We have been going by http://pokerscout.com and adding the sites by size. We may continue to do this or we may skip around now that the unsupported sites are pretty similar in size. To submit your hand histories, please follow this link.

Hi Leute.

New Release: 3.00 build 4
New Release: 3.00 build 4
There are many new features in this release since build 3. Here is a list of some of the major changes:
* New Sites: Boss Media and the new Cereus Network
* Selective purging of sessions/tournaments
* Tournament result entry improvements
* New stats and filters
* Further improvements to performance, particularly Hud performance
For a complete list of changes, see the PT3 Build History / Release Notes thread.
We've started adding new sites with this release. One of our top priorities right now is to add new site support at a more rapid pace. We expect our next beta release to contain support for two new sites with more following in future beta releases. We also plan on adding more of the highly requested features. Keep your eye on our Development Roadmap for more information on where future development is heading.
It would seem that most of the performance and stability problems are behind us now. For those of you who experienced them and worked with us to resolve them, we extend our gratitude. We know it's frustrating dealing with problems in software you use. We share your frustration, but we also share your excitement when the problem is finally resolved. Anyone who still experiences problem, we will continue to work with you to resolve them to the best of our ability.
Thanks again for your support. Please let us know if you have any problems, questions or comments regarding the new release.

* Import: Automatic blind detection adjusts for all-in or missing SB/BB
Fixed:
* Import: FTP invalid pot size errors
* Replayer: Show Hero Cards fix

* Tournament player list no longer shows players with no hands in database
* Tournament conversion from PT2

* Hud: Hero stats and Last X Hands filter

* Cache: Will no longer allow tournament tables in the cash cache and vice versa
Some notes on the new features:
New Feature: Pacific Poker
Pacific Poker is putting out a new client that saves hand histories on its own, so a hand grabber will not be necessary. PT3 should import these with no problems once they are available, but some work may need to be done to automatically locate the hand history directory and so forth. Also, our TableTracker servers aren't quite ready for Pacific support just yet, but they should be up soon. Once they are up, this version should have no problems with it.
New Feature: Hud Profiles
You can now create multiple profiles for your Hud usage. You can export them and share them with your friends. With your export comes all your custom statistics as well, so all your friends need to do is import the file and they have your complete Hud profile. You can easily duplicate profiles between cash and tournaments and you can easily switch the profile that a table is currently using. This feature will be expanded in the future to allow you to select which profile to use with your choice of table types by default.
New Feature: Table opening for OnGame, Cereus and iPoker
This particular feature has not received a lot of testing, so it may prove to have some bugs. OnGame and iPoker *must* be launched through the PT3 interface in order to open tables. If your site performs an update, it might not work properly until it's restarted again.
New Feature: More Details
A new way of displaying information to you has been added to PT3. This method allows us to format data in an easy to read format. There is a new 'Details' tab available, and under the 'Sessions' tab, there is a new item in the drop down that shows your standard deviation, as well as your results by day of week and time of day.
New Feature: Hud on the Replayer
You can now have the option of having the Hud display on the replayer window. This is a great feature for session review. Not only do you get to relive the action, but now you'll see the stats just as you did when you made your decisions at the table. They are filtered to only show those stats you had at the time of the hand.
This release adds a number of highly requested features. We hope that they help make PT3 more valuable to you. We've also fixed a number of bugs, which should make PT3 more stable and reliable to you. We've also striven to get you these new features in a more timely manner than in the past. We will continue to strive for this pace. We are actively working on expanding our development team and streamlining our quality assurance and testing process. We want to thank those of you who take the time to work with our support staff to solve problems and locate bugs. Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated.
Thanks also to those of you who have submitted hands to us, but we still need more. We need hands from the following sites:
* B2B
* Betfair
* Bodog
* Cryptologic
* Entraction
* Microgaming Network
* Tain Network
* Tribeca
* *Old* Ultimate Bet
* World Poker Exchange
