2006 Showdown Poker Tour Satellites
Poker.com is sending players to the new European Showdown Poker Tour.

The Showdown Poker Tour is the only truly independent poker tour in Europe.

Satellites start March 20, 2006 and will be running daily to give players the chance to play in European cities including Dublin, London, Vilnius and Tallinn.

Grand final satellite winners will be awarded an $8,500 package that includes the $6500 (€5300) buy-in and $2000 travel and spending money.

There are 3 levels of satellites Qualifiers >> Semi Finals >> Grand Finals

Qualifiers (w/Rebuys)
Daily MTT 14:00 EST - $5 + $0.50 - One Semi final entry coupon awarded for every 11 buy-ins, rebuys.
Semi Finals

Da ich mit dem Gedanken spiele, Everest aufgrund des für mich nicht spielbaren Boniprogramms den Rücken zu kehren, liebäugele ich mit Poker.com. Allerdings habe ich noch einige Fragen:

1. Ab wann zählt eine Hand als gespielt bei Poker.com hinsichtlich der Comp Points? Muss ich bis zum River dabeibleiben oder nur den BB bringen...

2. Sind die SnG Turniere von den Comp Points ausgenommen?

3. In den FAQs von Poker. com ist eine gute Tabelle mit den einzelnen Gruppen, wie viele Comp Points es dort pro gespielte Hand gibt. Leider ist dort NL mit Einsätzen <0.10$/0.25$ gar nicht aufgeführt, heißt das, es gibt keine Comp Points für NL Tische mit niedrigeren Einsätzen?

4. Der Depositing Bonus oder auch der Refer-a-friend Bonus - in welchem Zeitraum ist dieser zu erspielen? Wann läuft er ab?

5. Werden SnG Turniere bei den Comp Points berücksichtigt?

Sofern ich beabsichtige zu Poker.com zu gehen, schwanke ich je nach obigen Antworten zwischen dem Refer-a-friend Bonus oder dem Depositing Bonus. Oder gibts noch aktuellere Bonuscodes von denen ich Gebruach machen könnte?

We've made it to September and while things are starting to cool down in the Northern Hemisphere, things are really heating up here.
We are halfway through the $50,000 Super Seat Giveaway promotion, and we are about to kick off our Asia-Pacific Poker Tour Satellites.
And just when we thought it couldn't get more exciting the Caribbean Stud progressive jackpot went off to the tune of $20,000!

WPT Barcelona
Last month we had 2 players win their way to Spain for the WPT Barcelona event, and this month we turn our attention to Sydney for the Australian leg of the Asia-Pacific Poker Tour.

Our first winner was 'enzolito' he took apart a field of 96 and battled his way through to win his $12,500 package. When he got to heads up he had to battle past '2PACSOICY' who earlier in the year became our youngest ever WSOP package winner. With a seat given away for every 50 entrants '2PACSOICY' was very unlucky to not earn his place in Barcelona.

In the next WPT Barcelona it was more of the same. The winner this time around was RobertDragon, a great reward for a player who has been with us from pretty much the start. The field was once again just shy of awarding 2 seats, with 92 players registering, and once again in second place was '2PACSOICY'. Clearly on a streak the young gun is supremely confident of securing another live tournament soon, and when I spoke to him he clearly had his sights set on a APPT package.

Asia Pacifi c Poker Tour
Our first Asia-Pacific Poker Tour satellite takes place this Saturday, and up for grabs is a $8,750 package that includes your seat in the season ending APPT event in Sydney. The smaller buy-in for the main event means cheaper packages, and this means that instead of the grand final awarding a seat for every 50 entrants, that number comes down to 35. That means for every grand final we will give away at least 2-3 seats going on recent numbers.
