World Series of Poker Preregistration Begin - Player Apparel Rules More Liberal
It is nearly that time of year again when the best poker professionals and hopeful amateurs come together to play in the largest fielded land-based tournaments in the world.
Preregistration for the 2007 World Series of Poker has begun, scheduled for June 1 through July 17 at the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino. Payment for any of the 55 events can be made in the following forms: cash, cashier’s checks, and wire transfers. Rio casino chips will also be accepted, including a special edition WSOP branded $10,000 chip. The 38th annual WSOP main event buy-in will remain at $10,000. Other bracelet tournaments will range from $1,000 to $50,000.
New changes have been made to the new participant rules, including a less conservative player apparel policy. Players will now be allowed to wear apparel with multiple logos and patches.
Event information, player registration instructions, and player sponsorship rules can be found at the official WSOP website.

Dass ein Event tatsächlich ausverkauft wäre, ist bei dem überwältigenden Platzangebot im Pokerroom des Rio fast unwahrscheinlich. Schließlich hat man es im letzten Jahr sogar geschafft, die fast 9,000 Teilnehmer des Main Events unterzubringen. Von Jeffrey Pollack, Commissioner der WSOP, gibt es auch mittlerweile die Bestätigung über die Liberalisierung der Kleidungsvorschriften. So ist es den Spielern tatsächlich gestattet, Logos und Schriftzüge auf ihrer Kleidung zu präsentieren, um den Spielern ein breiteres Angebot an Sponsorverträgen zu ermöglichen.
Doch Harrah’s hält sich auch nach wie vor strikt an den Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. Das heißt im Klartext, dass in keinem Fall ein ”.com” einer Gamingseite auftauchen darf. Auch ein kleines dezentes ”.net” wird es nicht geben, der Zusatz am Namen muss in der gleichen Größe wie der Firmenname geschrieben werden.
Es ist zumindest für viele Spieler eine Chance, sich mit Logo-Wear so manches Buy-In leisten zu können. Dass sich Harrah’s bemüht, die amerikanischen Gesetze einzuhalten, ist ihnen nicht zu verdenken. Deshalb wurde auch bereits vor zwei Monaten bekannt gegeben, dass man keine “Reservierungen durch Dritte” akzeptieren werde. Gemeint sind damit Gaming-Sites, die stapelweise Tickets erstehen und dann an ihre Spieler in Promotion-Aktionen weitergeben. Dachte man nun schon, dass es keine Online-Satellites mehr für die WSOP 2007 geben wird, so hat Harrah’s die Meldung von damals auch abgeschwächt. Man akzeptiert Reservierungen von Drittparteien, so lange sie offizielle Sponsoren der WSOP sind. Allerdings mit der Einschränkung, dass sich kein US-Amerikaner über eine Online-Seite qualifizieren kann.

Fullt Tilt hat alle glaub 15 Minuten ständig 650er und 350er-Teilnehmer Freeroll SNG's.
man kommt gut rein und geht bis zu den letzten 50 auch sehr schnell danach zieht es sich ein wenig.
1. kommt in runde 2. danach im 2. die ersten 9 zum "finale".
ka obs sich lohnt. ist zumindest wenn man es versucht nen flotter zeitvertreib und man hat locker 3 tische offen.

For those who are not interested in playing numerous small satellites, Poker Stars, Full Tilt, and Bodog are running bigger-buy-in weekly satellites that put players directly into the World Series of Poker main event.
Poker Stars is running a weekly $650 buy-in that guarantees at least one $12,000 WSOP package. It includes the $10,000 main event buy-in, $1,000 in spending money, and $1,000 for hotel accommodations or extra money for expenses.
Players can satellite into this tournament through $3 rebuy, $11 rebuy, $16 double shoot-out, $27 rebuy, $27 turbo/rebuy, or $80 multi-table tournaments.
Full Tilt features a $1,000 buy-in weekly qualifier every Thursday at 9 p.m. that guarantees at least five WSOP packages. The Tuesday weekly qualifier is a $322 buy-in at 9 p.m., guaranteeing at least two packages. Full Tilt’s Tuesday and Thursday qualifiers can be satellited into for as little as $4.40.
The WSOP package at Full Tilt includes the $10,000 main event buy-in, as well as $2,000 for expenses. In addition, Full Tilt will also pay an extra $10 million to any player who qualifies through its site and wins the main event.
Bodog’s direct satellite tournaments run every Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. The buy-in is $270 and guarantees at least one $12,000 package per tournament.

Qualify for the WSOP Main Event for Free
Online Sites Offering Plenty of Freerolls
The World Series of Poker main event is the largest and most prestigious land-based tournament in the world, making millionaires and instant celebrities out of anyone does well in the tournament. Poker sites are giving players the chance to compete in this event alongside the best poker players in the world for free.
Poker Stars is offering two Frequent Player Point (FPP) paths, a 1,000 FPP path and a 4,000 path. Players begin by playing in a daily 100 FPP buy-in that awards one entry into a 1,000 FPP Final for every 10 players. These players can play in one of the three 1,000 FPP buy-in weekly finals on Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday. One WSOP package is given away in each final.
As for the 4,000 FTP path, players can participate in a 40 FPP tournament that gives away one entry for every 100 players into the weekly final, or in a 400 FPP qualifier that awards an entry for every 10 players. The 4,000 FPP buy-in final takes place once a week and the top two places receive a WSOP package.
Every week, Full Tilt is giving away seats to the main event. Players who earn 3,000 Full Tilt Points (FTP) in any qualifying week will be eligible to play in a weekly freeroll tournament that takes place every Sunday at 4:30 p.m. ET. At least two seats will be given away. The qualifying weeks start every Thursday and end every Wednesday until June 20.
Ultimate Bet gives away $12,000 WSOP packages every Friday and Saturday night in its $215 buy-in tournament, but players can qualify for free by using their Ultimate Points (UP). There are 25,250 UP buy-in satellites that are equivalent to a $10 buy-in or 10,100 UP buy-ins equivalent to $40 buy-ins. For every $215 in the prize pool, a seat into one of the two weekly tournaments is awarded. The site is also offering a direct satellite into the main event with a buy-in of 53,750 Ultimate Points, which equals $215. At least one $12,000 package will be given away.
